The Women’s Sports Podcast Network (WSPN) began with a shared belief: women’s sports deserve more than passing headlines — they deserve a dedicated spotlight.

In 2023, Taylor Cook, a retired professional hockey goalie turned mindset coach, and Chris Sinclair, a passionate advocate for equity and representation in sport, each had their own podcast.

Taylor’s episodes often dove into the mental side of sport, drawing on her experience as a professional hockey goalie and her work as a mindset coach. Chris’s show explored different corners of women’s sports, driven by curiosity and a desire to shine a light on stories that weren’t being told.

Different topics, different formats — but the same heartbeat: give women in sport a platform to share their stories.

After a few conversations, we realised something: if our shows could join forces, we could do more than just create great episodes. We could build an actual network — a home for multiple shows, more voices, and a community that genuinely cares about women’s sports.

So, we did it.The Women’s Sports Podcast Network was born.

WSPN is about more than producing shows — it’s about creating a ripple effect. Every podcast episode, every partnership, and every guest is part of a bigger movement to make sure women’s sports aren’t treated as niche, but as essential.

The growing lineup features powerful storytellers from across the sports world. Each brings unique insight, passion, and personality, backed by partnerships with brands that believe in equity, representation, and the power of storytelling.

From day one, our mission has been clear:

  • Amplify stories that matter

  • Celebrate real moments — wins, losses, and everything in between

  • Keep the conversation moving forward

Today, WSPN is home to a growing lineup of podcasts led by passionate storytellers from across the sports world. It’s a space for athletes, fans, and creators to connect. And it’s proof that when we work together, we can change the way women’s sports are seen, heard, and valued.

We’re still just getting started — and we’d love for you to be part of it.

Taylor & Chris
